William P. ('Bill') Reddick, M. H. A.

President

Mr. Reddick held various management positions with Arthur Andersen and The Hospital Authority of Fulton County, Georgia. From 1994-2005, Mr. Reddick was Co-founder, Healthcare Analyst, and the Director of Research for Masters Capital Management, a hedge fund. During that time Mr. Reddick worked extensively with public and private biotechnology and medical device companies. Mr. Reddick is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University (B.B.A.) and the University of Houston (M.H.A.). Since 2005 Mr. Reddick has been the President of Celtaxsys and is a member of the Board of Directors.





Roland Gerritsen van der Hoop, M.D., Ph.D.

Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Gerritsen van der Hoop received his degrees at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. His career in the pharmaceutical industry started in 1988 with Solvay. Between 1988 and 2002 he held a number of different positions for this company first in Weesp, the Netherlands, and since 1995 in Marietta, GA, including those of Senior Vice-President of R&D and Chief Medical Officer. Prior to joining ENDO Pharmaceuticals in 2003, Dr. Gerritsen van der Hoop was Vice-President of Global Research and Development and Chief Scientific Officer at Serologicals Corporation. He most recently served as Senior Vice-President for Research, Development and Regulatory Affairs at ENDO, during which time Endo obtained market authorization for two new opioid therapeutics, Opana® and Opana ER®.




Surendra J. Chavan, Ph.D.

Executive Director of Preclinical Research

Dr. Chavan has over 15 years of experience leading several successful clinical research projects aimed at therapeutic endpoints in the treatment of cancer, autoimmune disorders and infectious diseases. He directed preclinical animal research programs for "T cell therapy for cancer" at Valeocyte Therapies and later the "Autoimmunity and Inflammation" and "Protein Purification" research programs at Telos Pharmaceuticals in San Diego in CA.. He is also the former Clinical Director for the Pediatric HIV immunology laboratory at the North Shore Hospital in NY. Dr. Chavan obtained his MS in Biotechnology from the "Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)" in Mumbai, India. Thereafter, he earned his PhD in Biochemistry from the prestigious "Cancer Research Institute, Tata Memorial Center", Mumbai, India. He is one of the founders of the real time fluorescent reverse transcriptase assay that forms the basis of today's real time PCR technology platform. At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NY he invented a novel method for purification of HIV reverse transcriptase. Dr. Chavan has won numerous awards including the Henry Christian Award from American Federation for Medical Research Foundation for his research on HIV-protease inhibitor "Indinavir".






Ralph A. Grosswald, M.P.H.

Director of Operations

Mr. Grosswald was a Founder, Director of Operations and Sr. Project Manager for GMP Companies, Inc. where he managed projects for the commercially available LifeSync® Wireless ECG System and the Eyepass® glaucoma drainage device. He was the Director of Research for National Healthcare Network, a managed care network of 40 cardiovascular centers of excellence. Ralph was also a Clinical Trial Coordinator for Emory University School of Medicine.
