Celtaxsys announced that it has strengthened its leadership by appointing Roland Garritsen van der Hoop, M.D., Ph.D. as its Chief Scientific Officer. He has over 20 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology experience including roles as Senior Vice President of R&D for Solvay and ENDO Pharmaceuticals.

Celtaxsys announced that it has appointed Surendra Chavan, Ph.D. as its Executive Director of Preclinical Research. Suren has over 15 years of experience leading successful research projects in the treatment of cancer, autoimmune disorders and infectious diseases. He has directed preclinical animal research programs for Valeocyte Therapies and Telos Pharmaceuticals in San Diego in CA.
