Celtaxsys has discovered immune cell chemorepellents. The video illustrates live cell microscopy of human CD4+ T cells being repelled by one of the company's propietary agents. The cells can be seen to polarize and migrate directionally in response to the exposure to the Celtaxsys reagent. This is perhaps the first documented evidence that human immune cells can iterrogate their environment and move away from a chemical gradient. |
